Weekly guided walks

Over the last 30 years the once derelict gardens at Plas Cadnant have been lovingly restored to create a unique and richly atmospheric visitor experience. At its heart is a semi-formal walled garden enclosed by unusual curving walls with a procession of yew pyramids leading down to a pool, herbaceous borders, sculpted topiary and many unusual plants. Through a secret tunnel visitors enter the valley gardens that have been carefully restored in the Picturesque style. The winding paths lead through themed areas, passing gently tumbling waterfalls, lush jungle, grotto-like ravine and reflecting pool. The unusual planting capitalises on the unique terrain and microclimate, providing botanical interest over a long period. Plas Cadnant is renowned for its attention to detail, long season of interest and its award-winning traditional tearoom. After featuring in numerous articles, books and television programmes, the garden has become a popular destination for visitors from around the globe.
