Chers membres,
Je quitterai la présidence d’EBTS France le 12 novembre prochain, juste 23 ans après avoir fondé l’association.
Je remercie tous ceux avec lesquels j’ai passé des merveilleux moments.
Je vais encore d’avantage me consacrer aux jardins et aussi réfléchir à des projets qui me tiennent à cœur depuis longtemps.
Ci-après quelques mots de remerciements reçus des autres EBTS avec lesquels j’ai eu le plaisir de travailler pendant si longtemps.

As for your other email, point final, I am of course surprised and simply cannot think of EBTS France without you at the helm. You created the current EBTS France 23 years ago, and your personal magnetism and dynamist have been definingly instrumental in making it the huge success that it has become. Thank you very much indeed from everyone at EBTS UK for everything you have done for the EBTS as an organisation across Europe, and we all wish you very well in whatever follows for you, in life and in the garden.
Personally, I always very much appreciate your frankness and the speed of your response when as Editor of TOPIARIUS I need information or confirmation, and I have enjoyed the occasions when we have met in France and in the UK.

Ton départ de la présidence d’EBTS France, me sidère ; ton départ, que j’espère mûrement réfléchi, marque un tournant historique pour l’association qui, je l’espère, continuera sur de bonnes bases.
Grâce à ta vision et à ton dévouement, EBTS France a connu un développement exceptionnel dont tu peux être très fiers.
Tu as su bâtir une communauté de sympathiques et passionnés amateurs de jardins ; chaque membre te doit une grande gratitude. Je profite aussi de ce mail pour te souhaiter à toi et les tiens une excellente santé et un avenir heureux en compagnie de Véronique et de tes petits enfants.
Sache que ce sera toujours un plaisir pour moi de te revoir et de partager de nouveaux moments autour des jardins et de l’art topiaire que tu si bien mis en avant en France.
